Alkek Library Annual Reports
This collection exists to connect all of the annual reports prepared by Albert B. Alkek library at Texas State University. Reports generally contain major planning goals, departmental accomplishments, department goals, data compilations and analysis, material and collection numbers, as well as expenditures and employees.
William Broyles, Jr. Papers
The papers of magazine editor, playwright, novelist, and screenwriter, William Broyles, Jr., span the years 1962 to the 2002 and are arranged into the following series: Personal Papers, Magazines, Books (Published and Unpublished), Plays, Television Projects (General, Produced, and Unproduced), Film Projects (Produced and Unproduced), Writings by Others, and Videocassettes.
Don and Carol Hazelwood memorabilia
Donald Hazelwood was a professor in the mathematics department at Texas State University. He was active in the Faculty Senate and helped create the Faulty Senate Newsletter in the 1970s. The collection contains Faulty Senate Newsletter and other related materials from the 1970s.
Fine Arts Focus (periodical)
Periodical published by the School of Fine Arts and Communication, which provided information for all of its departments: art and design, theater and dance, communication studies, and journalism and mass communications.
Hispanic Magazine Archives
The Hispanic Magazine Archives contains documents relating to the production of each issue of the magazine. Within this collection are annotated drafts, page proofs, research material, correspondence, press releases, press kits, newspaper clippings, photographs and machine-readable diskettes.

It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll Collection
Ron Young, longtime music journalist, songwriter and, musician grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and was the founder and publisher of the pioneering indie music newspaper It’s Only Rock ’N’ Roll. The publication chronicled the rise of punk and New Wave music in San Antonio and Austin, as well as local and regional rock ’n’ roll, blues and heavy metal acts.
Sam Kindrick Papers
The papers of reporter, photographer, and publisher, Sam Kindrick, span 1934-2018, and are arranged into three series: Photographs, Kindrick’s Personal Papers, and Action Magazine. The bulk of the collection relates to Action Magazine, a monthly newspaper Kindrick launched in 1975. Included are approximately 4,000 photographs from the publication, and a near-complete run of the paper. Kindrick’s personal papers include copies of his column from the San Antonio Express News, 1968-1974.

Office of Institutional Research fact books and compiled statistics
Collection of periodicals consists of reports published by the Office of Institutional Research and later Enrollment Management. They provide statistical data about the university, including enrollment by college, gender, and ethnicity. Some years also include data about faculty, staff, finance, and facilities.
President's Report to the Board of Regents
Administrative reports from the President of Southwest Texas State University (presently Texas State University) to the university system's Board of Regents. After 1993, the President’s Reports merged into Board of Regents meeting agendas.
Reports to the Curriculum Committee: Texas State University System Board of Regents
Reports prepared by Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) which list and summarize statistics on student enrollment by department, broken down by professor, courses taught, credit hours, and number of students enrolled. These reports are also known as "The 12th Class Day Report" or the "The 4th Class Day Report." Statistics for summer sessions are taken on the 4th day of classes, with fall and spring statistics taken on the 12th day of classes.

Texas Monthly Editorial Records
This collection includes editorial files for Texas Monthly issues. The files are arranged chronologically by issue (Date, Year) and are described a tthe box-level. Content of the files per issue vary, but most include fact-check files, author research and notes, inter-office memos, and other materials generated in the composition and publication of feature articles for a particular issue of the magazine.
Texas Monthly Magazine Archive
The processed portion of the Texas Monthly Archives consists of the editorial records of the first five years of publication (1973-1978), although the dates of the material in the collection ranges from 1972-1980.
University Employee and Staff Handbooks
Published every other year, the employee and staff handbooks are designed to acquaint employees with a general overview of the policies, procedures, and benefits of Texas State University. Some issues include addenda. Items are arranged chronologically.
